Recently crowned Formula One champion, Lewis Hamilton could miss the final 2 races of the season after testing positive for Coronavirus.

The English drive who claimed a record equaling 7th world title with a victory at the Turkish GP last month, has continued to dominate in the remaining rounds by taking victory in Bahrain at the weekend.

It was following that recent success that Hamilton displaying mild symptoms and discovered he'd been in close contact with someone who later tested positive prior to flying to Bahrain.

He'll miss this weekend's Sakhir Grand Prix in the country, and quarantine rules may prevent him competing in Abu Dhabi the following weekend.

There is plenty of speculation as to who will take his seat in the Mercedes with the reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne scheduled to travel to Bahrain as planned.

George Russell who is the Mercedes Junior could be in contention, while they could also could go for Nico Hulkenberg  who did 3 races earlier this year subbing in for Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll.
