Glencar-Manorhamilton recorded a convincing 12 point victory over Fenagh-St. Caillins to move top of the Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior Football Championship Group one.

Glencar-Manorhamilton scored a 2-17 (23) to 2-5 (11) win over Fenagh-St. Caillins in the first round of fixtures in group one.

Meanwhile Mohill recorded a convincing 10 point victory over Melvin Gales, Mohill finding the net three times to win out 3-9 (18) to eight points.

While Drumreilly opened their account with a four point win over Gortletteragh 1-13 (16) to 12 points.

In group two Ballinamore-Sean O’Heslin’s romped to a 33 point victory over Dromahair-St Patrick’s. Ballinamore finding the net on four occasions to win out 4-26 (38) to 1-2 (5).

The high scoring also saw St Mary’s-Kiltoghert hit the net five times as they won out 5-14 (29) to Allen Gaels 0-13.

In the Smith Monumentals Intermediate Football Championship Annaduff and Drumkeerin played out a 14 point group one draw, Annaduff 2-8 (14) Drumkeerin 0-14.

In group two Ballinaglera scored a four point win over Aughavas, Ballinaglera 2-13 (19) Aughavas 2-9 (15).
