Sligo got the better of Leitrim by eleven points in Avantcard Pairc Sean MacDiarmada in Electric Ireland Connacht Minor football championship this evening.
It finished Sligo 1-20 Leitrim 1-09.
The Yeates county led Leitrim 1-11 to 1-04 at half-time and outscored the hosts nine points to five in the second half.
Sligo opened the scoring with a point but an eventful first minute then saw Leitrim hit the net through Jack Hughes.
Sligo returned to the lead in the 13th minute and minute later corner-back Oisin Hynes nabbed a goal for the away side in the 14th minute to put Sligo four points ahead at 1-06 to 1-02.
Sligo never looked back and marched onto the win.
Barry McWeeney got all of Leitrims points while Eoghan Smith got eight points for Sligo.
Leitrim take on Galway next while Sligo are up against Roscommon.
