Five competitions in hurling is it too much?

Over recent seasons there has been much debate about putting a tiered structure exists in the All Ireland senior football championship.

That system exists in hurling with the Liam McCarthy,Joe McDonagh, Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher cups. Former Longford hurling manager Frank Browne says in his own opinion he thinks its too many competitions.

Former All-Ireland winner with Wexford Gary Laffan gave his views on the new competition the Joe McDonagh Cup and the fact there are now five competitions in Hurling.
