Tune In For Weekend GAA Action

A busy weekend of sport on Shannonside FM with Gaelic Games the centre of the action.

The Greenfields Foods Monaghan Senior Championship semi-final replay between Ballybay and Scotstown is the centre piece of Saturday sport with Dave Hooper in the hot seat from 2pm.

We’ll be crossing to O’Neill Park Clontibret for live coverage of the semi-final replay with a 3pm throw in.


We’ll keep you updated with all the sport form the Shannonside region and abroad throughout the day, including updates from around the Barclays Premier League.

Sunday Sport Stadium is another action packed show with live coverage of both Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon Senior Football Championship Semi-Finals.

Join Benny O’Brien from 2pm as Roscommon Gaels take on Boyle in the first of the semi-final.

There will be no stopping the action as Saint Brigids take on Western Gaels at 3:45pm as we await to see the line up for the 2017 Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon Senior Football Final.

We’ll also have our eyes and ears on the Longford Senior Hurling Championship final between Wolfe Tones and Longford Slashers.

There will be plenty of sport to keep you active throughout the weekend.

Watch out for an interview with Irish Mile Record holder Ray Flynn ahead of the Pace Mile Event in Longford Town on Monday night.
