Under pressure Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has reported a clean bill of health ahead of Saturday’s Nations League tie with Denmark.
The full Republic of Ireland squad took part in training at the FAI National Training Centre on Thursday morning.
Striker Shane Long joined the other 25 players in the session after previously sitting out training due to ankle knock and had no reaction to the injury.
The squad will train again on Friday morning ahead of the Nations League double-header against Denmark and Wales (October 16) at the Aviva Stadium.
Over 46,000 tickets have already gone for the Denmark game on Saturday evening, a game Ireland need to get a result from as Ireland to maintain their Nations League B status.
