Martin Heneghan landed the open section of the 20th Maureen Owens and Gerard McKenna Memorial Singles Darts Tournament in Drumkeerin on Easter Sunday.
Heneghan beat Padraig Hester (both Mayo) 6-1 in the final with the winner receiving €800, perpetual cup and trophy, writes Seamus Gallagher.
The runner up received €350 and trophy. Beaten semi-finalists Andrew Dempsey (Longford) and Dwyane Kelly (Leitrim) each received €175 and trophy.
Beaten quarter-finalists Gearoid Brennan (Sligo), Stephen Gannon, Martin McPadden and Jason Cunningham (all Leitrim) each received €75 and trophy.
In the Youths section, Cavan player Pearse Mackle came out on top with a final victory over Martin Kerins from Sligo.
The winner received €100 and the trophy, the runner-up €50 and a trophy. Beaten semi-finalists Eoin Corrigan (Fermanagh) and David Cafferkey (Mayo), each received €25 and a trophy.
Denise Cassidy (Fermanagh) beat Tanys Sarsfield (Mayo) in the Ladies final, winner here received €75 and a trophy, the runner up €25 and a trophy.
In the Leitrim confined section, Ray Mulvey beat Wayne Roberts in the final. Ray received €200 and a trophy with Wayne receiving €100 and a trophy.
Jason Cunningham and Thomas Devitt were beaten semi-finalists and received €50 each and a trophy.
In the Town league final, Adrain Smith again came out on top but was made to fight all the way by David McManus.
Highest check out over the day went to Ope n winner Martin Heneghan with a check out of 141.
