Longford To Host Tyrone In Qualifiers

The draw has been made for round two of the All-Ireland senior football championship qualifiers with Longford up against last year’s All-Ireland runners up Tyrone.

Leitrim’s reward for beating Wicklow is to face losing Munster semi-finalists Clare, while Westmeath will fancy their chances against Limerick.

Monaghan will go head to head with Armagh in the pick of the matches. While Padraic Davis side will face Tyrone in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

There is a question mark over the date of the Leitrim meeting with Clare as Leitrim hurlers will have a Lory Meagher Cup final meeting with Lancashire on Saturday June 22nd.

The other fixtures see Mayo travel to Down, Antrim are to face Kildare, Derry are at home to Laois and Offaly have been drawn against Sligo.

The matches will take place the weekend of June 23rd.
