English championship club Hull City have confirmed two people at the club have tested positive for covid-19 following the first round of the league’s coronavirus testing.
The EFL have confirmed that 1014 tests were undertaken on players and staff at all 24 second-tier sides, and all but two came back negative.
Teams in the division will resume non-contact training tomorrow with a view to resuming the season sometime in June.
Meanwhile, Premier League club Bournemouth have confirmed that one of their players has tested positive for the coronavirus.
It’s after two people from two different clubs were found to have Covid-19 following the Premier League’s second round of screening.
In line with protocols the player will self-isolate for seven days before being tested again.
