GAA Learning from USA in Treating Concussion

Donegal two time All-Star Ryan McHugh has taken a complete break from football after a bleed on the brain and two concussions in the space of Seven months.

This follows the recent news that Roscommon under 20 footballer Conor Shanagher has had to retire following six concussions in 18 months.

Former Monaghan footballer Dick Clerkin is Chairperson of the GAA Medical, Science and Welfare committee.
