Plans have been revealed into how Connacht’s homeground the Sportsground is to be redeveloped at a cost of 30 million euro.
Connacht has reached an agreement with their co-tenants, the Irish Greyhound Board, and the owners of the land, the Galway Agricultural and Sports Society to carry out the work.
Connacht representative on the IRFU Adrian Leddy explained the work on the stadium that will be undertaken.
He says other options were explored but the Sportground is the ideal venue for the province.
