Henshaw Hopes To See Action In July

Robbie Henshaw is continuing to train in Athlone on his own as he prepares to return to the rugby field.

The Leinster and Ireland back has returned home to his family home as rugby is suspended during the covid-19 emergency but hopes to be back in the Leinster jersey in July or August.

Rugby is on shutdown internationally with all the Leinster players given indiviual training programmes ahead of an expected return to small training groups next month.

Henshaw joined Dave Hooper on Saturday Sport and admitted he’s itching to get back on the playing pitch and right Ireland’s six nations defeat to England in March.
