Vincent Pierce joined us to recite some Patrick Kavanagh “A Christmas Childhood”

John Wynn’s Gatehouse treated us to some fine tunes with Rachel Garvey on vocals…

And they also played The Wexford Carol

Longford native writer Seán O’Suilleabháin spoke about his book “Under The Thatch – Memoirs of A Longford Childhood” and recited a Christmas poem that appeared in Old Moore’s Almanac around 1950…
