Leitrim County Council heritage Officer Sarah Malone is encouraging groups and individuals to take part in National Heritage Week next month by submitting their ideas and online projects by the 4th of August. This year’s theme is “Heritage and Education; Learning from our Heritage”. The projects will then be showcased during Heritage Week which runs from Saturday the 15th of August until Sunday the 23rd of August. Sarah Malone has been telling Anne Norris on today’s Let’s Talk about what kind of things have been submitted online so far in Leitrim, and about a series of special podcasts and videos commissioned by the council themselves as part of Heritage Week.
