UK pubs re-opened to huge crowds enjoying a;alcohol outside on Monday which has turned the focus on Ireland's re-opening plans for hospitality

A Leitrim man, who runs a bar in London, says UK authorities have taken a postive attitude to re-opening hospitality.

Videos have been shared online of street parties in various towns and cities across the UK after the country entered the next stage of its lifting of Covid restrictions on Monday.

Alcohol can only be consumed outdoors but only 405 of licenced premises in the UK are able to serve customer outdoors.

Damien Smith is a Ballinamore native and owner of pub in London told the Joe Finegan show that urban Councils have worked with local businesses in order to make sure that they adhere to restrictions and keep customers safe.
