Two arrested after man stabbed to death in Dublin

A man in his 30s has died after being stabbed in Loughlinstown in Dublin.

Two men have been arrested and are being held in Shankill Garda station.

Shortly after midnight gardai were called to the scene of a row on Loughlinstown Drive in South Dublin. A man in his 30’s was found with stab wounds.

Members of the Armed Support Unit, local Gardai and Emergency Services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The body of the dead man remains at the scene which is being preserved for technical and forensic examination.
The office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.

Two men, in their 30s, have since been arrested and are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Shankill Garda Station.
