The trial of two teenage boys accused of murdering 14-year-old Ana Kriegel is due to get underway today.
The boys – who can’t be named because of their age – are accused of murdering the schoolgirl at a disused farmhouse in Dublin.
Ana Kriegel was reported missing on May 14th last year. Her body was found at Glenwood House on Clonee Road in Lucan three days later.
Two boys, both aged 14, have been charged with her murder and a jury is due to be sworn in today to hear their trial.
The teenage boys can’t be named because they’re under 18 and strict reporting restrictions will remain in place throughout.
The trial is expected to take up to two weeks.
