Longford County Council has confirmed that a special event to unveil 400 years of records of Longford town will now take place on September 14th.
The event was due to take place last month but was postponed.
The Pakenham Papers are part of the family archive held at Tullynally Castle in Castlepollard where they now live.

The papers are digitised and as part of an archive project lead by the Longford local authority, an event will be held on Wednesday September 14th at Longford library at 7:30pm to mark their availability to the public.
