Plans have been lodged to Roscommon County Council for a potential new public park in Athleague.
Athleague Amenity Co. Ltd has submitted plans that include the development of an outdoor meeting space, playground, pedestrian paths and "kickabout" area at the Fair Green on Church Street.
The development would also include new pedestrian entrances, boundaries and landscaping at the site in the village.

County planners are due to make a decision on the potential new public amenity in October.
