A man has died following a fall near the Devil's Chimney in north Leitrim.
The alarm was raised just after 7pm last night when the man in his 60s was found in a stream following a fall.
It's understood weather and ground conditions were difficult at the time.

The Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue team was tasked to the scene and the man was removed from the water and taken to a nearby field but was pronounced dead a short while later.
The man is believed to be originally from the Galway area and a post-mortem is due to take place today at Sligo University Hospital.
