University Hospital Galway one of most overcrowded today

University Hospital Galway is one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country this afternoon.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 38 patients there waiting for a bed.

There are 25 on trolleys or wards in Sligo University Hospital, 13 in Tullamore and 4 in Mullingar Hospital.


The worst affected hospital in the country is University Hospital Limerick with 66 people waiting for beds.
