The Minister of Education has granted Athlone I.T with a large sum of money allocated for upgrades and capital works

Over half-a-million euro (€583,000) has been allocated for capital works and upgrades at Athlone I.T.

The Minister for Further and Higher education has granted the Athlone based third-level institute an extra €568,000 to purchase equipment and carry out works on campus.

The college has been operating with online classes for the majority of its first semester due to the pandemic.

I.T Sligo is also to receive over €600,000 for similar works.
