MEP candidate Peter Casey claims national broadband plan “worst deal you can imagine”

Midlands North-West independent European candidate Peter Casey has described the government national broadband plan as the “worst deal you could imagine”.

The Donegal businessman is one of 17 candidates seeking a seat in the European Parliament in this month’s election.

The Presidential runner -up claims that the government has badly miscalculated the deal, and the risk is that the technology being installed could be obsolete in 25 years time.
