Joe Joyce Senior told Judge Seamus Hughes that he was trying to keep the peace and that the incidents arose from 'women fighting' with the judge remarking that he knew Mr Joyce as an "Instagram star" and from Facebook videos.

A Garda gave evidence that the incidents were connected to a feud among the Joyces and that they had received reports of a slash hook on one occasion and 10 Gardai were also required at the scene.

All four men were granted bail with conditions - including curfews, with Judge Hughes warning the men that they got bail today but would not get again if they committed any other offences.
