Golden Island Shopping centre up for sale again

Athlone’s Golden Island Shopping centre has gone on sale for more than €41million euro.

The shopping centre, constructed in 1996, most recently changed hands in 2016, when it was bought by Credit Suisse by around €43.5million from Tesco.

The Irish Times is reporting that the sale is being handled by commercial property firm Cushman and Wakefield and they are seeking offers in excess of €41million for the shopping hub that boats a cinema and full occupancy.
