Athlone Institute of Technology has confirmed that students will be introduced back to its facilities on a phased basis in September.
From 14th September, second, third and fourth-year students will return to campus and recommence their studies.
Incoming first year students will begin on 28th September in line with all other institutes of technology.

Taught postgraduate students will return to campus on the 5th October.
The college has confirmed that where face-to-face lectures are not possible due to social distancing requirements, lectures will take place via interactive remote learning and the virtual classroom.
