Vandalism on a road in Roscommon has been condemned by locals as “disgraceful”.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, with the R371 road between Scramogue Cross and Slatta Cross littered with dangerous debris, including timber posts and construction signs stolen from a local site, as well as cones, road work signs and concrete blocks.
A local resident who highlighted the vandalism, Scott Hunter, claimed they were “strategically placed” as if it were “an obstacle course” and is calling for anyone with information to contact the Gardai.
Mr Hunter is offering a personal reward for any solid information on the people responsible, as some of the debris was taken from his property.
