There was a slight rise in the number of people unemployed in Roscommon last month.
The latest Live Register figures show that, overall in Shannonside region, the rate dropped by 29 in November to 7,487.
The biggest decrease in Longford, with a fall of 32 to 2,946, while there was a decrease of 24 in Leitrim to 2,009.
Throughout the Shannonside region, last month there were more than 1,100 fewer people unemployed than at the same point last year.
However, the month-by-month figure in Roscommon rose by 24 to 2,503 in November, which concerns Sinn Fein’s general election candidate in Roscommon-Galway, Claire Kerrane.
