Nine Gardai from the Shannonside region are among 197 who passed out at Templemore College this week.
The graduates will be deployed to counties Cavan, Monaghan, Castleblayney and Dublin.
Among the graduates who graduated from Templemore this week, four come from Longford, while the other five are Roscommon natives.
From Longford there’s Martin Mulligan and Emma Dardis who will be deployed to Castleblaney, as will Darren Mullen from Roscommon.
Daire Duggan from Longford will be deployed to Carrickmacross and Paul McKeon will be sent to Monaghan.
Roscommon’s Shane Costello and Shaun Harrison will go to Store Street in Dublin and Longford respectively, while Rory McCormack and Lorraine Carty, also from Roscommon, will both be sent to Cavan.
Just six Garda recruits in total will be deployed to the Shannonside region.
Jasmina Milincic and Peter Leonard from Offaly, along with Shaun Harrison from Roscommon and Rachel Carlin from Donegal will be deployed to stations in Longford.
Meanwhile, Natalie Murtagh from Mayo and Ciaran Kerin from Galway will be sent to Carrick-on-Shannon.
The 197 garda graduates have spent the last 34 weeks preparing for life in the force and will be deployed to stations nationwide.
