People in the wider farming and rural communities are being urged to support those involved in protests at beef plants.
The action, which is now running since the beginning of August has been conducted by members of the beef plan movement and individual farmers.
A second round of talks on resolving the dispute over price did not get underway this week due to the continued presence of farmers at the gates.
Protestors who say they are peacefully blocking entry to factories say they will continue with their action, during any talks until there is a successful outcome.
They say they are there for as long as it takes.
Ballinasloe area Councillor Declan Geraghty who has been outside Kepak Athleague every day, says while the community has supported the protestors with food and supplies, it’s now time for them to show their support on the picket.
