A Roscommon woman battling stage four cancer has died

A Roscommon woman, who was battling stage four cancer, has died.

Tracey Brennan, from Grange, Four Mile house, Co Roscommon, passed away yesterday at Galway University Hospital.

She was diagnosed with stage two cancer following a smear test in July of 2017.


However, she was initially given positive treatment, but suffered a relapse in April of 2018.

She will repose at her home in Grange, tomorrow from 3pm until 7pm.

Her funeral mass will take place on Monday in St. Patrick’s Church, Cloverhill, at 12pm, with burial afterwards in Ballinderry cemetery.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Aidan, son Evan, and a large circle of family and friends.
