Roscommon teen through to finals of Cadbury Inventor competition

A 17 year old Co Roscommon student is among three finalists in Ireland and England who are vying to create a new Cadburys chocolate bar.

The Cadbury Inventor competition, which was launched last year, allowed entrants to add up to three ingredients to a dairy milk bar, then name their bar and explain what inspired their creation.

Callum Clogher, who’s from Dysart in Roscommon gave his bar the name of Choca-Latte, based on his love for coffee and chocolate.

The 17 year old says the whole competition experience has been surreal and he can’t believe he’s made it through to the final.

The two other competitors are both from the UK.

The three finalist’s bars hit the shelves across the country today for a limited time only, and the one that gets most votes on the Cadbury Inventor website will stay on the shelves for good.
