Roscommon SF TD "very proud" to serve on front bench

Roscommon Galway Sinn Fein Deputy Claire Kerrane says she's very proud to be one of the Sinn Fein front bench after being appointed as party spokesperson on Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and the Islands.

The Roscommon woman says she's very happy to be one of a very energetic and very determined team who will be challenging the newly appointed Ministers in the various departments as part of the opposition over the coming years.

Deputy Kerrane says she already has some experience of the social protection brief and will do her best for people who reply on it, as well as for rural Ireland in general.

Sligo/Leitrim Deputy Martin Kenny retained his role as party spokesperson on Justice as part of the announcement today.
