The average asking price in Roscommon has risen by 1.8% in the last year.
According to a report released by Daft.ie a house in the county will cost you on average €140,878 during the third quarter of this year – that’s 2.7% less than in the second quarter.
Meanwhile the price of a house in Longford is down 1.2% from last year to €136,983.
In Leitrim, the cost of housing is going down – with the average house selling for €129,306 in the third quarter of 2019 – that’s 2.4% less than they cost this time last year, Making it the cheapest county to buy a house in, in the Shannonside region.
Overall the price of housing has barely risen with the national average just 0.1% higher for this period than last year.
