Roscommon Hospital Action Committee has collected more than €50,000 in recent years

The Roscommon Hospital Action Committee has revealed it’s collected more than €53,000 in recent years.

The money has been spent on improvements at both Roscommon University Hospital and the Sacred Heart Home.

The figures were released following the committee’s most recent church gate collection for hospital equipment.

To date, the hospital has benefited with a range of equipment, including a new new heart monitor and a phlebotomy scanner.

Also, a suite of new beds and equipment for the physio department have been bought for the Sacred Heart Home.
