A Roscommon councillor is hopeful that there will be no major delays to the construction of a new road connecting Tulsk to Clashaganny.
Four new routes for the 5km project were revealed to the public yesterday, with engineers expecting to select a final route before the end of the year.
The project will see traffic on the N61 pass through Tulsk and the village’s crossroads thanks to a new junction layout, while no homes are affected by the plan.
Once the design is completed, the next stage will be to try and secure funding for the project with hopes that work can begin sometime in 2020
