Roscommon County Council will engage with all commercial rates payers during the coronavirus crisis.
It was confirmed in a recent statement on updates of the council’s services while the pandemic continues.
Roscommon County Council’s services are still available through the newly launched My Online Sevices part of the council’s website, where requests can be tracked.
According to their recent statement, essential services will be maintained as a matter of priority.
They’ve stated they will continue working with rates payers experiencing difficulties, however they also encourage ratepayers that can pay or part-pay their rates to continue doing so.
The public are also reminded that applications for motor tax renewals can be processed online at motortax.ie.
Submission of environmental complaints are still being facilitated, and every effort will reportedly be made to inspect incidents and take action where possible.
All civic amenities are currently operational as normal in Roscommon, Ballaghaderreen, Castlerea and Boyle, however people are asked to observe social distancing practices.
