A public meeting will be held on Tuesday night over the temporary closure of Castlerea Fire Station.
It has been shut for the past four weeks because a number of staff are absent on sick leave.
The Arm/Williamstown Road Residents’ Association is hosting a public meeting in the O’Rourke GAA Centre on Tuesday night at 8 o’clock.
The organisers say the purpose of the meeting is to seek clarity on the future of the fire service in the town.
Residents, associations and organisations are being urged to attend the meeting to discuss the relevant issues and get reassurance that the station will reopen.
