More than 50 new properties were registered by homeowners in the first month of 2018.
According to the Property Price Register, the top price paid last month in the Shannonside region was €600,000 for a group sale of six homes in Roscommon.
A total of 21 new homes were registered in Roscommon last month.
The lowest price paid for a domestic property was €10,000 for a house in Powells Hill in Cootehall, Boyle, while six homes, with an address of Sunnyside Close in Roscommon town, were sold together for €600,000, which it’s noted was not full market price.
In Leitrim, the most expensive property sold last month was a home in Dromahair, which reached a price of €226,000, while of the 17 properties sold last month in the county, the lowest price was €28,000 paid for a home in Church Lane.
Just 13 homes were sold in Longford last month – the cheapest home that went under the hammer was in Gaigue, Ballinamuck, for €20,000, while a home at Moydow reached the highest price in January – €145,000.
