Roscommon County Council are exploring the possibility of rolling out a temporary mobile library service for Elphin and Strokestown over the coming months.

Libraries in Roscommon town and Castlerea have re-opened with normal hours and the phased re-opening of Boyle is to begin in the next week, with Ballaghaderreen being looked at as well.

The libraries in Elphin and Strokestown however are deemed to be too small to allow for safe social distancing and so they'll stay closed for now.
