Manger of Roscommon Hospital says facilities at hospice “second to none”

The General Manager of Roscommon Hospital says the facilities at the new Roscommon hospice look set to be second to none, and will provide the best possible service for people who use it.

The official sod turning for the hospice, which is to be built on land beside Roscommon Hospital, took place on last Friday with large numbers attending who’ve been involved with the fundraising over the past two decades.

It’s hoped the €6.2 million euro project, which has units to care for people, can be opened by spring of next year.
