The Director of Public Health in the HSE western region says she is concerned about the rate of increase in transmission of the virus in the region.
With Donegal on a level three, officials are closely monitoring a rise in cases a number of other counties, including Galway, which has seen 22 new cases added in one day this week
Roscommon is likely to see an increase in its overall total this evening by six new cases.

Director of Public Health in the west, Dr Breda Smyth says the virus is spreading quickly in the region, and is appealing to people to restrict their social contacts by half over the coming days.
