HSE seeking planning permission for new primary care centre in Ballaghaderreen

The HSE has lodged planning permission for the construction of a new primary care centre in Ballaghaderreen.

The building will be located at the present medical centre in the town and will involve the demolition of the current structure and the construction of a two storey building

It will also include a GP suite as well as a pharmacy and an upgrade of the car park.

The HSE has confirmed that it plans to enter into an agreement for lease for the centre with Sharpdale Ltd, the developer of the building, subject to terms.

A decision on the planning application is due by the end of January.
