A Shannonside hospital is the most overcrowded in the country today.
According to figures from the INMO, University Hospital Galway is the worst affected nationwide with sixty three people waiting on trolleys or chairs.
This marks an increase of over twenty people since yesterday.
The latest information from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows that one hundred and eleven people at Shannonside hospitals are waiting for a bed.
Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar currently has twenty people waiting, with eleven in Cavan General Hospital.
The figures note that seven people are at Tullamore Hospital with ten at Portiuncula.
The other most affected hospitals include Cork University Hospital with fifty-four people on trolleys, and forty-five people at both University Hospital Limerick and South Tipperary General Hospital.
Overall, five hundred and twenty-seven patients are on chairs or trolleys in hospitals around the country today.]
