Female refugees in Ballaghaderreen to benefit from funding in 2018

The Emergency Reception and Orientation Centre (EROC) that caters for Syrian refugees in Ballaghaderreen is set to receive additional funding from the Department of Justice and Equality.

Female refugees in the centre are set to benefit from the project, which aims to further educate and train people in order to secure employment.

The Roscommon centre will recieve €73,800 in 2018 and is one of seven projects nation-wide that will benefit from the project.

Martina Earley, who’s volunteered at the handy-craft club that exists in the centre describes the benefit the project will have on the group.
