A Roscommon tourism operator is encouraging people to check out what attractions the region has to offer if they have issues with increased prices in the sector.

Kathleen Campbell who's originally from Scotland runs the Townhouse Bed and Breakfast with her husband and sister since they moved to Elphin two years ago.

She says people who think they being overcharged by the bigger hotels should vote with their feet and should go to the less obvious tourist areas if they want to find the best value.

Kathleen told the Joe Finnegan show that she and other small businesses locally are not putting up their prices and will be doing everything they can to stay viable without ripping people off…
