The Edmund Rice Centre at the CBS in Roscommon has received their Guinness World Records certificate

The Edmund Rice Centre at the CBS in Roscommon has received their Guinness World Records certificate for the largest awareness ribbon in the world.

The autism awareness ribbon, which was sewn by a local dressmaker and took a week to create, was 120 meters long and 14 meters wide.

It was rolled out at the school in April to coincide with World Autisim Awareness month.

Teacher at the centre, Orla O’Connor, has said the school is delighted to receive the official certificate.
