Czech national Lenka Karaskova says she has enjoyed tidying the roundabout outside her adopted village of Rooskey on the Roscommon Longford border over the past few months.

Lenka who moved to Rooskey three years ago says she originally lived in Dublin when she came to Ireland several years ago but she's much happier now to be living in rural Ireland.

The Czech national became a familiar figure to motorists driving past the roundabout over the past few months where she was cutting the overgrown grass and other plants.
