Cuisle campaigners go the extra mile for the cause

Campaigners hoping to keep Cuisle Centre in Donamon open are going the extra mile for the cause.

Two women have got hashtag savecuisle tattoos as a mark of solidarity with those affected by the decision to close the respite and holiday centre for people disabilities at the end of this month.

A rally in support of the guests and the over 40 staff set to lose their jobs at the end of next week will take place in Roscommon town on Saturday.

It will begin at Aras an Chontae at 12pm and move to the Square for speeches for 1pm.

Margo Hannon from Dublin got her tattoo on her back and Sarah Brennan from Roscommon has branded her wrist with #savecuisle.

They told Let’s Talk why they decided to do it.
