Claire Kerrane still concerned over meat plants response to Coronavirus

Roscommon Galway Sinn Fein Deputy Claire Kerrane says she’s still seriously concerned about how some meat plants are handing their response to the Covid-19 crisis.

She’s also accusing Minister Michael Creed of having a total “hands-off” approach to the outbreaks in the plants.

Speaking on Let’s Talk this afternoon, the Sinn Fein TD says while it’s some relief to know that some HSA inspections were carried out at the plants this week, there needs to be far more transparency on how the government is dealing with this issue if people are to be reassured that it’s been properly dealt with.
